Some research and census data is typically presented in tables with paragraphs and lengthy details, the story gets lost and is hardly ever told. In February 2017, the MultiChoice SAP Centre of Excellence performed a system conversion from ECC 6.07 to S4HANA Finance 1605. The conversion was performed successfully on the first attempt by the in-house team, with less than 18 hours of downtime. Christchurch City Council embarked on their digital strategy with a HANA Enterprise Cloud implementation at the start of 2018. It was the first step as part of the organisation’s roadmap to create a foundation for a modern digital platform to take us through next decade. It was a key element for our goal of a financial transformation.
